Charlie and I conducted a survey to determine how many pairs of jeans a person owns. We surveyed all the stats students and those in the library to collect our data of 50. The only problem we had was that some people owned different colors of jeans, so we limited it to blue jeans. The mean of the data was 6.46. The min of the data set was 0. When asked why the person didn’t own any jeans they said they have more sweats and work pants which we didn’t consider those in our survey question. The Q1 we found was 4 and Q3 was 8. The median, which is the middle number of the data set we found to be 5. The max number we collected was 23. The standard of deviation was 4.23.
